Non-competition contracts

For contracts not subject to the competition rules, the file to be submitted to the DS must contain:

• CV and cover letter
• Supporting letters from the thesis director and head of the lab
• Marks and ranking (but without the application of the 12/20 threshold nor the requirement to be in the top half of the class)
• Letters of recommendation (optional)

These ‘non-competitive’ DCs are not subject to the posting requirement, although posting is still recommended, as experience has shown that making a thesis offer visible on certain sites, such as Campus France, helps attract valuable candidates.
