Contracts subject to competition

♦ The dossier to be submitted to the DS by candidates must contain:

• CV & cover letter
• Interview report with the thesis supervisor
• DT and DU letters specifying the number of candidates interviewed and explaining how the selected candidate stands out
• Marks and ranking: minimum 12/20 and placement in the top half of the class
• Mandatory letters of recommendation (at least from the Master’s course supervisor)

♦ At the same time, the thesis director must submit to the DS a file containing:

• The list of all current supervisions
• For all recently supervised doctoral students (whose date of first registration is between n-7 and n-4): the start and end dates of the thesis, any withdrawals, the scientific output associated with each doctoral student (articles, communications, etc.), the outcome of the doctoral students immediately after the defence and a few years later (approximately 2-4 years).

♦ DC offers must be posted on sites visible at least on a European scale for a sufficient period of time (at least 1 month). These offers must remain posted until the deadline announced when they were submitted. Currently, the minimum requirement is posting on the Campus France site, as well as on the DS website
