Derogatory registration

The duration of a doctoral contract is 36 months.
As a general rule, there are no exceptions for second registrations, and first registration exceptions are not automatically granted.
These requests will be examined at the autumn board meeting, based on a dossier justifying the reasons for the delay, demonstrating that the thesis is well advanced, and providing a firm commitment to a defence date, with funding secured for the period outside the contract.
