There are three site directorates, in Caen, Rouen, and Le Havre. Each site has a deputy site director and at least one administrator. The site directors are responsible for welcoming doctoral students and managing the administrative aspects of their files (in partnership with the registering institution) throughout their studies. Most regulatory procedures are handled at the site level, from registration files to defence files, including various aspects such as the CSI (individual follow-up interview).

The DS director is one of the three deputy directors. He or she is appointed by the President of COMUE Normandie Université on the recommendation of the DS Council, for the duration of the DS’s accreditation.
